Christmas Lights Switch On 2016

Christmas Lights StonehavenAs in previous years, Stonehaven Business Association is organising Christmas celebrations in the Market Square to coincide with the switching on of the town’s Christmas lights.  This year’s festivities will take place on Saturday 26th November, when many different community groups and organisations will again be taking part in a grand Christmas Parade.

Fetteresso Church choir will be leading carol singing in the Market Square from 3pm onwards, with Mearns FM providing entertainment and commentary in the lead up to the Parade.  The Rotary Club will also be on hand with mulled wine.  The Parade itself will leave from the Leisure Centre at 4pm, make its way through the town, and end up in the Square at 4.30pm, where STV celebrity newsreader Andrea Brymer will switch on Stonehaven’s Christmas lights.
