You are invited to join the Silver City Singers for a Harmony Happening

Date: Saturday 23rd April 2016

Venue: South Holburn Parish Church Hall, 539a Holburn Street, Aberdeen AB10 7 LH

Times: Afternoon Session - 2pm  Social Evening: 7pm 

Silver City Singers
The Silver City Singers began on 16th April 2012 with the first meeting of their initial Singing Course.Since then they have grown to a 20 strong, four part harmony acapella chorus.

They have performed at numerous community events, private functions and care homes. In September 2015, they undertook their first overseas singing trip to Warsaw in Poland.

Performances often include additional individual or small group musical spots, comedy and audience participation.

The Harmony Happening afternoon session will start at 2pm and participants will learn to sing fun songs n four part harmony.All are welcome to come along, men, woman, novices and experienced singers.

At 6pm there will be a break for stovies (veggie or meaty).

At 7pm the Evening Social will begin. It will consist of performances by the Silver City Singers and guests with breaks for socialising and refreshments. Bring your own drinks and nibbles.

The songs learnt during the afternoon will be performed by the massed Harmony Happening Chorus.

There will be a Raffle in aid of Voluntary Services Aberdeen.

Participants in the afternoon session will be able to invite their family and friends to join them at either 6pm for stovies and Social  or 7pm for the Social Evening only. 

This event is Free. Tea, coffee and squash will be available during the afternoon.

There will be a modest charge for the Stovies.
