Details:The picturesque routes of Fetteresso Forest on the outskirts of Stonehaven will play host to the Stoney Stomp on Saturday 27th August. After a fantastic day in 2010, the Stomp returns with a 5km walk or run and 7mile run along the beautiful trails of Fetteresso Forest followed by a celebratory evening ceilidh at Mackie Academy in Stonehaven. We would love to see you for a dance at our ceilidh after the run where alongside your friends, family, local residents and fellow runners, you are invited to enjoy a summer evening of dancing and fantastic live music provided by North East ceilidh band Yousedancin. Bring your own refreshments to have alongside some delicious stovies served amid the fun.

Details:The CVSA charities fair will be combined with a craft and vintage element this year! Local crafters will now hold stalls alongside charities to sell their goods or raise awareness - and our very own Boxroom and Magpie shops have been putting aside lots of lovely vintage items to sell on the day. 10% of all sales for non-charities will be split between the charities attending. We have loads of great crafters attending this year and are hoping the event will be bigger and better than ever.
Teas, coffees and refreshments will be on sale on the day - and Mearns FM will be providing the music.

After a decade on the UK comedy circuit he has built a fine reputation for himself as a stand-up comedian and compère. His versatility has seen him play to audiences of all sizes and backgrounds, winning them over with his infectious enthusiasm, swift wit and immense likeability. Dubbed comedy's ginger Viking, he really is a larger than life character.
Mark Rough:
With over 3500 shows to his name, Mark has gone from the national comedy circuit to performing all over the world. His fast, gag based act is unique to mainstream comedy as he uses 100% original material. Sought after on the after dinner circuit, he has also branched out into cabaret and can now be found filling small theatres across the UK

Is an American comedienne based in London. After winning the Welsh Unsigned Stand Up Award in 2010, she has quickly established herself as a sought after stand up and compere on the UK and European circuit, gigging in 9 countries and venues in the UK including The Comedy Store, Glee Club, Banana Cabaret, Komedia Brighton, Baby Blue, and St. David’s Hall.

Has performed at some of the biggest comedy clubs in the UK including The Stand in Edinburgh and Glasgow, The Manchester Comedy Store.
